  • Brighid Bennett (she/her): Breathwork

    connect@brighidbennett.com

Brighid shares space with clients to empower them to self-heal by connecting back to their true nature through Breathwork, Reiki, and nurturing intuition. She studies with many indigenous healers and spiritual teachers around the world, particularly Ireland, Mexico, the Himalayas, and Guatemala. In a comfortable space, she guides clients in a rhythmic breathing pattern to deeply relax and drop from the mind to the body to connect deeply with the earth below and transcendent support all around.  From this stillness, the body can feel what it has been holding onto and let it go. Breathwork practice has tremendous physical health benefits, helps us regulate our nervous system and clears out the clutter in our mind to step into action with clarity and contentment.

With over 25 years as a social worker and over 15 years as a psychotherapist, I believe in the power of change. I work with a variety of issues including depression, trauma, anxiety, substance use, obsessive compulsive disorder, anger management, relationship stress and codependence. My approach is gentle, collaborative, and active. With radical acceptance we will reflect on and move through difficult emotions and experiences deep down to the roots, through the trunk and ultimately up to the higher branches – the past, present and imagined future.

I am certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement & Desensitization (EMDR), both evidence-based modalities. I also incorporate Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) somatic work & Mindfulness. I often work with artists and enjoy helping others realize their full creative potential in any field. In addition to my work as a therapist, I am a musician, farmer and an occasional crafter.

  • Katie Mullins (she/her)

    Katie Mullins (she/her): Somatic Therapy

    katie@katiemullinspractice.com

Core Energetics is a somatic therapeutic modality based in the belief that all of our experiences are held in the body, in the cells of our bones, muscles and fascia, as if imprinted. These imprints shape our physical and psychological realities. Identifying them – and feeling them in the body – facilitates healing and change.

Weekly one-on-one sessions involve conversation, as well as the option for some combination of visualization, breathing, and/ or movement.
